Event Description:
Central College Theatre Department Presents "Steel Magnolias". This southern classic of family and friendship follows the lives of six women as they share their personal triumphs, tragedies, beauty tips, recipes and more in Truvy's Beauty Salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana, where the hair is high and the tales are even taller. Through their regular discussions of scandalous town gossip and the friendly banter of family crises, a unique bond of friendship and sisterhood is formed. These women can be as delicate as the magnolia flower but - when needed - as tough as steel. Performances 7:30pm daily, March 1-4 at the Pella Opera House.
