Out to Lunch

The Downtown Community Alliance is pleased to announce the return of Out to Lunch, scheduled for Wednesday, July 20. Out to Lunch will feature food trucks along with live music from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Mercy College of Health Sciences Campus, 928 6th Ave. in Downtown Des Moines. This event is free and open to the public. Free parking is also available at 701 Crocker, across the street from the event.

Out to Lunch creates a fun experience for Downtown employees and residents to meet and mingle with others in a vibrant Downtown setting with live music, food and more. Attendees can grab lunch from one of many food trucks and street vendors as they enjoy live music from Plastic Apartment. Out to Lunch will feature a variety of street food available for purchase. Food trucks and street food vendors will include: Karam’s Grill, Taco Loco, Gastro Grub, Outside Scoop and more.

Out to Lunch is produced by the Downtown Community Alliance, which is a pillar of the Greater Des Moines Partnership. Out to Lunch is sponsored by Mercy College of Health Sciences.
