Event Description:
The Jasper County Museum, 1700 S 15th Ave W, will host a Lunch & Learn on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from Noon until 1:00 PM. The subject matter will be different each month.
Museum board member Brent Parker will be presenting “Wittemberg History” at noon, March 8th at the Jasper County Historical Museum. Brent, his wife Suzanne and Jim and Roxann Wormley formed the Wittemberg Church Historical Society to purchase the historic church building after church services ended in November 2014. They currently operate it as a museum, documenting church and Wittemberg community history, as well as a venue for weddings and other events. Brent will be presenting historic information on the church, college and more so pack a lunch and join us Wednesday.
