First Annual National Bridal Sale Day

The first annual National Bridal Sale Day, Bridal Saturday, will take place on July 16, 2016. More than 700 independent, locally-owned bridal retailers coast to coast, including some top bridal salons in the United States and Canada, will participate in this day meant to offer brides, bridesmaids and wedding guests an unprecedented opportunity for substantial savings (in some salons up to 80% off) while supporting local bridal retailers. Impress Bridal of Newton, Iowa is proud to announce its participation in the sale. Individual store promotions will be announced at a later date. “Conceptually, National Bridal Sale Day - Bridal Saturday - is intended to become a tradition for the bridal industry, much like a Black Friday or Small Business Saturday is for other retail,” said the event’s creator, Sue Maslowski, owner of Jay West Bridal in Haddonfield, New Jersey. “It will be scheduled annually on the third Saturday in July.” Organizations supporting this event are The Knot, Brides, Wedding Wire, Bridal Guide, My Wedding, BrideClick, Vows Magazine, Association of Wedding Gown Specialists and International Bridal Manufacturers Association (IBMA).
