Event Description:
Join metro area library staff for a networking and educational event featuring Jody Urquhart. Jody will share her inspirational and light hearted insights on the world of public service. You will rediscover the joys of your job and have a good laugh while doing so.
The event will feature three sessions with Jody: I Love My Job, It's the Pepole I Can't Stand; The Nerve to Serve; and, Follow Me, I'm Right Behind You. The day also will include lunch and time to network with librarians from throughout Greater Des Moines.
The event is part of Capital Crossroads' (CXR) Governance Capital work and is supported in part by Polk County.
