Focused on helping organizations boost their success through partnership with MRA, she's an expert at both strategic thinking and tactical execution.

Commitment to quality and impeccable credentials are the foundation of Heather's leadership as executive director of MRA's Iowa/Western Illinois office. The career path that led Heather to MRA included proven proficiency in coordinating public/private partnerships, community outreach, marketing, and legislative outreach. Heather has worked closely with chambers of commerce, small business development centers, and other business and economic development groups, gaining sharp business acumen through work experience with a background in Economic Development, Business Development and Municipal Government.
Key Accomplishments
Selected for a lifetime appointment as an Edgar Fellow for the Illinois Institute of Government & Public Affairs, in partnership with the University of Illinois-Champaign/Urbana. The fellowship develops leadership and governing capacity within the state of Illinois.

Education
Heather graduated Summa Cum Laude with bachelor degrees in management and organizational behavior from the College of St. Scholastica, Duluth, Minnesota. She also holds the designation of Certified Municipal Clerk from the University of Minnesota and the Minnesota Clerk's Institute.
