Event Description:
This is a fun and educational, not scary, event featuring skits performed by Newton Community Theatre actors and members of the Jasper Conservation Connection. Hikers will step into a radio show, meeting various animal characters along the trail at Mariposa Recreation Area and listen to some familiar and fun songs that span over decades on Friday, October 28th.
The first hike begins at 6:00 PM and then every 15 minutes a new hike will begin until the last hike at 8:00 PM. Other activities will be Black-light animal tracking, pumpkin/gourd decorating, stargazing and roasting marshmallows while enjoying music by the fire. The cost is $3.00 per person. Children under the age of 3 are admitted free. Youth under age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
